Research direction: Research and development in optical communication field

Graduated from Major high altitude atmosphere physics in Nanjing University as Bachelor of Science.

From Aug. 1964 to Mar. 1986, engaged in nuclear weapon testing in the 21st test training base research institute of Commission Of Science Technology and Industry for National Defense. Research Assistant, Colonel.

In Mar. 1986, took office in Machinery Industry department of Shanghai Cable Research Institute, engaged in developing and researching optical fiber communication and test instruments, and was in charge of developing the series optical fiber test instruments with international advanced level.This has filled the domestic blank in this field, made contribution to the optical communication career of our country,and been awarded with a first price of scientific and technological achievements issued by Ministry of Machine Building, and many second and third prices of Science and Technology Progress by Ministry of Machinery Industry and Shanghai Municipality.

Awarded with the title of senior engineer in 1990.

Awarded with the title of National Machinery Industrial Science and Technology Expert issued by Ministry of Machinery Industry in 1995.

Won the governmental special allowances issued by State Council in 1998.

Awarded with professor-level Senior Egineer title in 1998.

Now assumes the office of General Engineer of Zhongguang Technology, applied for patent to State Patent Bureau in Dec. 2006, and obtained the invention patents as double-way positioned dry compression formed zirconia ceramic ferrule etc. Applied for international invention patent to State Intellectual Property Bureau in Jun. 2007, issued the application notice and obtained international invention patent No.
